Canadian Call Out!
SOCAN, or the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada, measures how much Canadian content radio stations are playing and divides up money to give to individual artists based on those numbers. Across Canada it is in fact SOCAN week next week and we at Heavy Metal Lunchbox would like to take it one step further than the usual 30% requirement usually set as a standard for Canadian content. Yes. We would like to put together an entire 2 hours of Canadian metal!
And we would like your suggestions to keep us going. Want to hear your favorite Razor track, or perhaps something new from Divinity. Whatever, give us your suggestions and rock out as only Canadian metal heads can.
