Edmonton Metal Lives!

1980s Edmonton oozed metal bands. And quality rockers at that. Today’s show featured two great Edmonton metal bands who came to prominence in the 1980s.
White Wolf made it to such heights as MuchMusic, MTV after they were signed by RCA in 1984. According to the website linked above, White Wolf came back together in 2007 and may possibly still be producing music.

Disciples of Power are often referred to as Canada’s most underrated and under appreciated metal band. Formed in 1986 from Medicine Hat! Their last album was put together in 1996 and they’ve never been heard from since…… No. Side projects included Dead Man’s Train and Section VIII.
